A shorter variant of the classic Tubetti Rigati, Mezzi Tubetti Rigati are part of the family of very short, straight-cut, ridged dry pastas and originate from southern Italy.

The format owes its name to the characteristic shape, which resembles small tubes.

Mezzi Tubetti Rigati are recommended for the preparation of legume soups, such as beans or lentils or for broth soups.

They are also excellent for the preparation of particularly delicate dry pasta, with light tomato and basil sauces.
